We offer hiking tours around Frigiliana, Nerja and El Chorro. Depending on your needs, we can arrange all day long walking in mountains and hills around Frigiliana, Almunecar and Salobrena area or shorter and less strenous hiking up the beautyful gorges (Barranco La Colailla) and cool Rio Higueron (close to Frigiliana). Ask for details Barranco La Colailla and Rio Higueron hiking might be extended with rock climbing and abseiling picnics during stops. |
RIO HIGUERON WALK
RIO HIGUERON - the river in valley next to charming Frigiliana village. We start our trip in less busy part of canyon and walk up the river passing rocky walls, waterfalls and caves. It is easy to meet wild goats on the way and around the valley. Usually we have the climbing rack with us, so be prepare for rock climbing stop (top-rope) - climbing in narrow canyon is really excited.
During this trip we stop for short rock climbing session and natural-plunge-swimming. At the end of the walk we stop for longer lunch-rest at great swimming spot: Pozo de Batan.
The trip is ending at Frigiliana - there you can stop for late-afternoon supper and enjoy the village sights.
Start time: 9 a.m. untill 4 p.m.
